What happens on the day of a boiler installation?
We make the area safe and protect your home, remove the old boiler, install and connect the new one (including the flue where required), then clean, test and commission the system. Before we leave, we’ll show you how everything works and answer any questions.
How long does a new boiler installation take?
Many like-for-like replacements can be completed in a day. If you’re changing boiler type or moving the boiler location, it can take longer. We’ll confirm the expected timescale before any work starts.
How do I know what boiler size I need?
We’ll recommend the right boiler based on your home size, number of bathrooms, hot water demand, and your existing system. We’ll talk you through the options in plain English so you can make a confident choice.
Do you remove and dispose of the old boiler?
Yes. We disconnect the old unit safely, remove it, and dispose of it responsibly as part of the job.
Is powerflushing included, and do I need it?
We include a magma cleanse flush with all boiler installs not powerflush
Will you test and commission the boiler properly?
Yes. We carry out the relevant safety and performance checks and commission the boiler to manufacturer guidance. We’ll also set up basic controls and show you how to use them.
Do you register the warranty and provide the paperwork?
Yes. Where applicable, we register the boiler installation and warranty, and provide the relevant documentation for your records.
